TW Medical Veterinary Supply Reports Impressive Growth in 2006

(January 9, 2007 - AUSTIN, Texas) – Year-end 2006 net sales once again exceeded the 20 percent growth mark for Austin-based TW Medical Veterinary Supply. The company’s 2006 sales grew by nearly 24% over 2005 figures, according to financial results released today.

TW Medical Veterinary Supply, a leading distributor of veterinary supplies, reported its 2006 fiscal year sales increased by $3,553,000 from year-end 2005 levels to close 2006 at $18,732,000, an increase of 23.4%. 

Net sales for the quarter ended December 31, 2006, totaled $4,910,000, an increase of $871,000 or 21.5% over 2005 fourth quarter sales. 

“By focusing on the fundamentals – listening to our customers and anticipating their needs – we have been able to achieve strong year-over-year organic growth,” says Mark Ziller, company President.  “We project similar strong growth in 2007 and beyond.”

To accommodate continued growth, TW Medical Veterinary Supply plans this year to expand its existing Austin facility from 18,000 to 26,000 sq. ft.  In addition, the company will open a distribution center on the West Coast in 2007 with 12,000 sq. ft. of distribution and inventory capability.
