Continued Strong Performance in 2007

(January 10, 2008 - AUSTIN, Texas) The year 2007 was another record year for Austin-based TW Medical Veterinary Supply, according to fourth quarter and year-end financials released today.

For the 12-month period ending December 31, 2007, total sales jumped 19 percent over the previous year. TW Medical closed the year with a sales volume of $22,217,000, compared to $18,732,000 in 2006. In the past two years alone, the independent veterinary supplier has grown by nearly 43 percent.

Net sales for the quarter ended December 31, 2007, totaled $5,464,000, an increase of $554,000 or 11 percent over 2006 fourth quarter sales. 

In 2007, TW Medical was honored for the second time to be named to the prestigious Inc magazine’s list of America’s Fastest Growing Private Companies.  “In 2007 we saw another strong growth year, averaging 20% annual growth each of the past two years,” said Mark Ziller, TW Medical president.  “As a result of our continued strong performances, we have been able to add new products lines which make us even more competitive in the market.  In 2008, we will continue to expand our market penetration in the western and southwestern areas of the country.”
