Strong Performance in Q4

(February 8, 2010 - AUSTIN, Texas) – Despite the economic downturn, Austin-based TW Medical Veterinary Supply has continued its multi-year uninterrupted track record of steady performance into 2009, with strong fourth quarter and full calendar year financial results announced today.

For the three-month period of October – December 2009, TW Medical posted $9.3 million in net sales, an increase of 31% over the same period a year ago.

For the calendar year ended December 31st, TW Medical had sales of $33.8 million, up 24% over the prior year. 

TW Medical is a wholly owned subsidiary of Lextron.  Company wide, companion animal sales topped $50 million for the year.

“We are continuing to expand and invest for continuing growth,” said Mark Ziller, TW Medical’s founder and Lextron’s Vice President for Companion Animal.  “In the next six months we will have an additional 10 representatives complete our training program and join our sales force.”
